The Botanicals
Juniper meets the Caribbean.
Every bottle of Nine Isles begins with classic London Dry juniper and is lifted with a hand-picked palette of Caribbean botanicals — from hibiscus sorrel to Grenadian nutmeg and Vincentian mauby bark.
Eight botanicals
A flavour map of the islands.
Each botanical is selected for what it brings to the glass — and for the story it tells of St Vincent & the Grenadines.
Tuscany, Italy
Juniper
Pine, resin, citrus pith
Hand-selected juniper berries give Nine Isles its unmistakable gin character — bright, piney and aromatic — providing the structure that lets our Caribbean botanicals shine.
The classic backbone of every London Dry gin.
St Vincent & the Grenadines
Hibiscus (Sorrel)
Tart cranberry, rose, ruby fruit
Known across the Caribbean as 'sorrel', dried hibiscus calyces are steeped each Christmas to make the islands' signature ruby drink. We infuse them whole for a vibrant tang and deep crimson colour.
The festive heart of our Sorrel & Mulberry expression.
St Vincent & the Grenadines
Caribbean Rose
Velvet petals, honeyed florals, soft spice
Hand-picked rose petals from the Caribbean add a delicate, perfumed sweetness. Their honeyed floral character bridges fruit and spice, giving the gin an elegant, silky finish.
A romantic floral layer that softens the palate.
The Caribbean
Cinnamon
Warm spice, sweet bark, gentle heat
True Ceylon cinnamon bark brings soft, sweet spice that ties juniper and tropical fruit together — a quiet companion that lingers on the palate.
Adds rounded warmth and a long, comforting finish.
St Vincent & the Grenadines
Mauby Bark
Bittersweet, root beer, liquorice
Brewed traditionally as a refreshing Caribbean drink, mauby bark adds an unmistakable bittersweet complexity — earthy, slightly medicinal and utterly tropical.
A distinctly Vincentian touch of bitter depth.
Southern China & Vietnam
Star Anise
Sweet liquorice, aniseed, warm spice
Whole star anise pods bring a clean, sweet liquorice note that complements juniper beautifully and gives the gin an exotic, perfumed lift.
Lifts and elongates the aromatic finish.
St Vincent & the Grenadines
Nutmeg
Creamy spice, wood, gentle nuttiness
Freshly ground Caribbean nutmeg — grown next door in Grenada — adds a soft, rounded spice that pairs naturally with peach, lychee and mulberry.
A creamy mid-palate that nods to the spice islands.
The Caribbean
Clove
Bold spice, eucalyptus, warm pepper
Used sparingly, clove brings a confident warmth that supports the deep berry notes of mulberry and the floral tartness of hibiscus.
A punchy aromatic that frames our darker fruits.
